As you may have on our Instagram or Twitter, we were at Truck Festival last month reporting for Nightshift, Oxford’s local music magazine. The 2,500+ words review has now been published in their September issue, which is available here. You can also grab a print issue at many places in Oxford, including Truck Store and Turl Street Kitchen!
We’ve seen far too many bands to mention, but our favourite new discoveries are The Seamonsters, Flirting. and local band The Shapes.
Other highlights were the Editors (nostalgic!), De La Soul in the rain, Whenyoung, a snippet of Sophie & The Giants, and The Big Moon covering ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’. You can read all about it here! And thanks to Helen Messenger for the beautiful photos accompanying the piece.
